How to get there
London Gatwick airport has 2 terminals – the North terminal and the South terminal, serving around 200 different destinations. Gatwick airport is easily accessible on the road, and is just 28 miles south of London and is linked directly to the M23. You can check out which terminal you need by visiting Gatwick’s “Terminal Guide”.
The South terminal is located near to the main train station, which is easily found if you follow the relevant signs upon arrival. However, the North terminal is a few minutes from the South terminal on a shuttle bus service which is free of charge.
Traveling around the terminals
To travel between terminals, you will have to take the ‘Inter-terminal Shuttle Service’ which runs every few minutes, all day, every day, taking just two minutes. The shuttle station is located close to the train station and linked to South terminal arrivals. From the North terminal, follow the signs for the South terminal – this can be found on The Avenue, Level 1.
Take note: there are a number of check-in areas throughout the North and South terminals. To find your check-in desk, look at the flight information screens at the entrances to the terminals.
